CDA MissionThe purposes of the organization are to participate in the religious, charitable and educational Apostolates of the Church. Catholic Daughters of the Americas engages in creative and spiritual programs which provide its members with the opportunity to develop their God-given talents in meaningful ways that positively influence the welfare of the Church and all people throughout the world. Catholic Daughters of the Americas strives to embrace the principle of faith working through love in the promotion of justice, equality and the advancement of human rights and human dignity for all.

Founded on November 10, 2001, at St. Genevieve Catholic Church in Thibodaux, Louisiana, Catholic Daughters Court Genevieve of Paris #2496, continues to grow and thrive in its south Louisiana home. The women of court #2496, currently 64 strong, strive to serve their community and parish, deepen their spirituality and live and grow in Catholic fellowship.

Come Join Us!
If you are a Catholic woman eighteen years or older you may join any Catholic Daughter court. You do not have to belong to the hosting parish to belong to a court within that given parish. If you are looking for an organization that will provide you with an opportunity to serve our community in various capacities, help you deepen your spirituality and allow you to fellowship with Catholic women who share your faith, then CDA may be right for you!
